Body is hard anodized (40µ) as standard but can be supplied PTFE coated or
all stainless.
Twin rack pistons made from die-cast aluminium - hard anodized or from
galvanized cast steel.
End caps aremade from die-cast aluminium powder polyester painted, PTFE
or nickel plated.
The pinion is high-precision and integrative, made from nickel-alloy steel.
Pre-loaded, coated high performance springs aremade from corrosion resis-
tancematerial (only type 5051 - Spring Return Actuators).
Two independent external travel stop adjustment bolts can easily and pre-
cisely be adjusted+/- 5% at both open and close directions.
Bearings and guides made from low friction, long life compoundmaterial to
avoid direct contact betweenmetals.
NBRO-rings provide trouble-free operation at standard temperature ranges.
For low and high temperatures FPM and Silicone are used.

Air to Port A forces the pistons outwards,

Loss of air pressure on Port A, the stored
energy in the springs forces the pistons in-
